Supporting the internationalisation of research at universities of applied sciences

Modern research is international! This requires good networking. With our foreign offices in

- Interner LinkBrazil
- Interner LinkIndia
- Interner LinkJapan
- Interner LinkRussia
- Interner LinkUSA

as well as through the Interner LinkSino-German Center for Research Promotion (SGC) in close collaboration with the German Centres of Research and Innovation (DWIH) and numerous research funding organisations Interner Linkworldwide, we offer contacts which we are seeking to make greater use of to support universities of applied sciences (UAS) where research is conducted.

With its initiative Supporting the internationalisation of research at universities of applied sciences (UDIF-HAW), the DFG is explicitly addressing UAS interested in international research collaborations or are already involved in collaborative research with partners abroad and would like to expand these. We offer individual consultation on the funding instruments of the DFG, also if you already have international contacts with whom you would like to start research cooperation. Please contact Dr Jörg Schneider to schedule a consultation appointment: Link auf E-Mailjoerg.schneider@dfg.de

By offering various project modules consisting of workshops, exchange opportunities and delegation trips to visit cooperation partners at universities and research institutions abroad where there is a particular interest in application-oriented research at German UAS, the DFG is developing a special toolkit to provide targeted support to address the needs, interests and strengths of research by German UAS.

If you are interested in the initiative and would like to talk about research-related topics and target countries, we cordially invite you to get in touch with us.
