The DFG regularly offers info talks on its funding instruments for early career researchers.
Germany’s largest independent research funding organisation offers funding opportunities for all career stages between doctorate and professorship. Join our online talk and get to know the DFG and its funding portfolio for postdocs.
We offer an overview of all funding instruments for the time after your PhD as well as specific focus talks on the Walter Benjamin Programme, the Emmy Noether Programme and the Heisenberg Programme. We will also provide advice on how to prepare your proposal for the review process and answer your questions. PhD candidates and postdocs of all disciplines are welcome to join!

Prospects: DFG Funding Opportunities for Postdocs
Germany’s largest independent research funding organisation offers funding opportunities for all career stages between doctorate and professorship. Join our online talk and get to know the DFG and its funding portfolio for postdocs. We will give a quick overview about the Walter Benjamin Programme, the Emmy Noether Programme and the Heisenberg Programme, as well as the Individual Research Grant with a temporary position for principal investigators. You will get advice on how to prepare your proposal and what happens once you submit it to the DFG. We are happy to answer your questions during and after the talk. PhD candidates and postdocs of all disciplines from all countries as well as research support staff are welcome to join.
