The Senate Committee on Collaborative Research Centres is

• appointed by the DFG Senate,
• responsible for supporting Collaborative Research Centres in consulting on initiatives, in reviewing and deciding on proposals and in evaluating results, and tasked with the further development of the programme and the relevant review and decision-making processes, and is
• made up of 39 researchers from all disciplines who also serve as scientific members on the Grants Committee on Collaborative Research Centres.
