Gender Equality Plan (GEP)
Equity and diversity are key priorities for the DFG. To this end, the DFG has implemented measures at various levels:
- applicable to the German research system,
- applicable to the DFG's funding activities,
- applicable to the subject matter of the projects it funds, and
- applicable to the DFG Head Office.
These measures are set out in the statement “Chancengleichheit in der Wissenschaft, im Förderhandeln und in der Geschäftsstelle der DFG” [Equity and Diversity in Research, in DFG Funding Activities and at the DFG Head Office], and in the DFG’s Gender Equality Plan. They also serve to meet the requirements for participation in the EU funding programme Horizon Europe.
