CONICET – Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas

  • Cooperation agreement first signed in 1987 and renewed in 2013
  • Proposals submitted on the basis of joint calls; for proposals for International Research Training Groups, researchers should first contact the DFG and CONICET to check that the idea is feasible.

CAPES – Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior

  • Cooperation agreement first signed in 1995 and renewed in 2018
  • Proposals submitted on the basis of joint calls

CNPq – Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico

  • Cooperation agreement first signed in 2007 and renewed in 2019
  • Proposals submitted on the basis of joint calls

FAPESP – Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo

  • Cooperation agreement first signed in 2006 and renewed in 2016
  • Proposals may be submitted at any time: Researchers from Germany and their cooperation partners in the state of São Paulo can submit project proposals to the DFG and FAPESP at any time, in all scientific disciplines. Joint funding is offered through the following programmes: Initiation of International Collaboration, Research Grants and Coordinated Programmes.
