EU Delegation Strengthens Research Ties in Rajasthan
From 5 to 7 March 2025, the DFG Office India participated in the outreach visit of the EU delegation to India’s research and innovation counsellors in Jodhpur and Udaipur. Both Jodhpur and Udaipur are amongst Rajasthan’s upcoming cities with a thriving economy, infrastructure, improved connectivity, and most importantly, they are being developed into hubs for research and education activities.

During the three-day visit, the delegation consisting of representatives of the delegations of the European Union to India, Euraxess, Germany, Austria, Sweden, Slovenia and Denmark visited a number of institutions and universities based in the two cities.

The EU’s outreach activity, organised with the aim of sensitisation, exploration of synergies in general, potential collaboration and information of students, researchers and faculty members about the multifaceted EU research landscape and funding programmes, was highly appreciated by the institutions/universities visited.
