DFG at the 38th Annual Meeting of the International Society of Chemical Ecology, Bengaluru, India

On the invitation of the organizing committee of the 38th Annual Meeting of the International Society of Chemical Ecology, German Research Foundation (DFG), along with the Max Planck Society (MPG) and Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Republic of India, Bengaluru participated in the annual meeting of the International Society of Chemical Ecology. A significant number of German Chemical Ecologist representing numerous German universities and non-universities research organizations participated in the annual meeting held from 23- 27 July 2023 at Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, India.

Representing the German organizations (namely DFG and MPG), Mr. Friedrich Birgelen, Deputy Consul General and Dr. Manjula Mundakana, Senior Advisor, Science Technology and Political Affairs at the German Consulate Bangalore actively participated in the meeting and gave presentations showcasing the German research landscape and spoke about the various collaborative opportunities through DFG funding instruments and MPG initiatives, for the scientist and for those interested in pursuing research careers in Germany.
