(15.06.23) The DFG’s partner organizations, the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) and the Japan Agency for Medical Research and Development (AMED), have launched calls for the program Adopting Sustainable Partnerships for Innovative Research Ecosystem (ASPIRE) to fund large-scale international collaborative joint research projects and promote researcher’s mobility. In this program researchers in Japan can receive funding to collaborate with researchers in Germany who have an existing grant by the DFG. To facilitate exchange between the research communities in Japan and Germany, DFG and Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) jointly fund German-Japanese workshops. The 2023 call was opened on 12 June by JSPS. Proposals are accepted until 5 September in all scientific areas.
