(24.02.21) From March 15 to 19, researchers from around the globe will get together for the first virtual March Meeting of the American Physical Society (APS). “Research in Germany” will be there to present the physics research landscape in Germany through a virtual Exhibitor Page and an online Workshop.
(23.03.21) Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Annual Meeting of the American Association for Cancer Research, the largest meeting for cancer science and medicine worldwide, will again be held this year in an online format only and will take place in two one-week periods on April 10-15 and May 17-21, 2021.
The “Research in Germany” initiative will participate as an exhibitor in both meeting weeks. At our AACR exhibitor page and at the Cancer Research Spotlight Page, you can find information about the German cancer research landscape. Moreover, we plan an online seminar about “Career Opportunities in Cancer Research in Germany,” as well as a “Research in Germany” virtual booth at the 2021 Virtual Cancer and Biomedical Research Career Fair.
(24.03.21) For the first time, “Research in Germany” put in a virtual appearance at the March Meeting of the American Physical Society (APS) to present the German research landscape in the field of physics to the international research community on a digital exhibitor page and at an online workshop.
(27.05.21) The "Research in Germany" initiative dedicated itself to presenting the German cancer research landscape at the virtual annual meeting of the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) from 15-20 April and 17-21 May. Attendees could choose between a booth in the virtual exhibition hall, the AACR career day, and an online information seminar.
(28.05.21) Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the 8th European Congress of Mathematics will be held online this year.
(24.06.21) This year’s Goldschmidt Conference will be held entirely online – and accessible from all over the world, on July 4 - 9, 2021. The Initiative “Research in Germany” will participate as an exhibitor and will provide information about research and funding opportunities in the field of geochemistry in Germany via an online information page and during an online information workshop.
(25.06.21) This year's congress will be held in an online format for the first time from 10 to 15 July 2021. The initiative “Research in Germany” will be represented with a virtual booth and two online information sessions. Political scientists from all over the world are cordially invited to find out more about research and funding opportunities in Germany on these occasions.
(30.06.21) For the first time, “Research in Germany” will participate in the International Conference on Machine Learning to present the German research landscape in the field of machine learning and AI.
(30.06.21) The “Research in Germany” initiative took part in the 8th European Congress of Mathematics (8ECM) with a virtual exhibitor stand, an information seminar on funding programmes for mathematicians and individual consultation sessions.
(21.07.21) From 4 to 9 July 2021, the renowned Goldschmidt Conference was held as a virtual event for the first time due to the coronavirus pandemic. The “Research in Germany” initiative was involved in the event with a virtual exhibitor page as well as an online information workshop on the subject of research and funding opportunities in the field of geochemistry in Germany.
(22.07.21) The World Congress of the International Political Science Association (IPSA) took place from 10 to 15 July 2021 with over 2,800 participants. The “Research in Germany” initiative contributed to various items on the programme of the virtual conference.
(23.07.21) The 70th General Assembly of the International Academy for Production Engineering (CIRP) will take place online this year from August 22 to 29. The initiative “Research in Germany” will present the German research landscape in production engineering through various online formats.
(18.08.21) “Research in Germany” was featured for the first time at the virtual ICML this year with the aim of providing the international community with an introduction to German research in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning.
(23.11.21) Cell Bio Virtual, the joint meeting of the American Society for Cell Biology (ASCB) and European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO), will take place online this year from December 1 to 10. The initiative “Research in Germany” will present funding programmes for international cell biologists in Germany through various online formats.
