DFG Executive Committee presents position paper

In view of the upcoming negotiations in the Joint Science Conference (Gemeinsame Wissenschaftskonferenz – GWK) on the future of the National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI), the DFG Executive Committee is calling for the programme to be continuously developed in line with the needs of the research community.

German–Polish Cooperation in Mathematics Recognized

Professor Dr. Dorothee Haroske of the University of Jena and Professor Dr. Leszek Skrzypczak of the University of Poznań are the recipients of the Copernicus Award, presented by the DFG and the Foundation for Polish Science (FNP) in recognition of their achievements in connection with German–Polish collaboration in science and the humanities.

Her communication activities are distinguished by their wide range of formats and their consistency. The head of the chair for Cognitive Systems at the University of Bamberg receives the Communicator Award, presented by the DFG and Stifterverband, for her long-standing and wide-ranging commitment to communicating and explaining artificial intelligence since the 1990s.
