Global Minds Initiative Germany

BMFTR_-_Logo_(en)

The "Global Minds Initiative Germany"(externer Link) launched by the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR) enables the Humboldt Foundation , the DAAD and the DFG to offer additional fellowships and invite top researchers to Germany in the context of existing sponsorship programmes.

Through the Global Minds Initiative Germany, the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR) aims to offer international researchers prospects within the German research system. Here, the funding opportunities offered by the DFG and the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (AvH) create excellent conditions. Individuals working at a research institution abroad are eligible to apply.

The DFG's current planning in this context is based on the federal government's medium-term financial framework and funds pledged by the BMFTR, which are the subject of the current parliamentary budget deliberations.
