Positions in DFG-Funded Projects

The following scientific positions from DFG-funded projects are currently open:

Academic staff member, part-time (65%)

This position is to be filled as part of the German Research Foundation’s project DFG-SFB 1472 “Transformationen des Populären” [“Transformations of the Popular”; Uni-versity of Siegen] and situated within the subproject “Wissenschaft im bundesrepublikanischen Taschenbuch 1955-1980” [“Science in the paperback of the German Federal Republic 1955-1980”]. The interdisciplinary sub-project (book studies, cultural studies) will be executed in close communication at two locations (Mainz, Siegen). The department of Book Studies within the Gutenberg In-stitute for World Literature and Written Media at the JGU Mainz is a cooperation partner of the CRC (Collaborative Research Center). Place of work is Mainz. A willingness to take part in events at the CRC’s location (Siegen) is ex-pected. The positions should be filled by 1 September 2021, with a limited contract of three years to 31 August 2024. The salary is in accordance with the German public service salary scale E13 TVL (65%). The University of Göttingen has a position opening for a Post-Doctoral Researcher in Food Systems Economics (all genders welcome) to join the Research Training Group (RTG) 2654 “Sustainable Food Systems” funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG). The position should be filled by 1 September 2021 with a limited contract of three years to 31 August 2024. The salary is in accordance with the German public service salary scale E13 TVL (100%). This is a qualification position for junior researchers pursuing an academic career after the PhD degree. The position is focused on research and has no regular teaching obligations.
