Funding Objectives and Programme Overview
The DFG funds the development of effective information services and innovative information infrastructures designed to meet the needs of the research community at German university and state libraries, archives, museums, media and computer centres, and at various other research institutions and information repositories in Germany.
The project funding provided in the information infrastructure division is intended to establish long-term information infrastructures for the German research community. The emphasis is on projects of a national or structure-building nature. In addition to the institutions listed above, all researchers who have completed their academic qualifications are eligible to submit proposals.
All proposals submitted must be allocated to one of our funding programmes. Further information about the programmes are available only in German.
