DFG Project Groups
The DFG's project groups bring together an interdisciplinary group of experts from the DFG's head office to discuss and propose new research projects.
The aim of this project group is to create a forum for scientists engaged in energy research on issues ranging from social relevance and scientific principles to technical implementation.
Medical technology is a prime example of a multidisciplinary research field with significant developmental potential. Current research findings from the relevant fields of medicine, engineering, computer science and the natural sciences open up new fields of application for medical technology in health care and lead to rapid growth in the importance of this discipline.
