DFG Project Group "Efficient Energy Conversion, Storage and Utilisation"
Bridging the gap between natural, engineering and social sciences
This project group, located at the DFG's Head Office, has been working since July 2004. Its aim is to bring together scientists investigating various aspects of energy research, from its social relevance and scientific principles to its technical implementation. To help fulfil this aim the project group provides information on DFG funding options. The interdisciplinary approach begins at the Head Office itself, encompasses roundtable discussions, and includes joint projects between scientists. An expert committee will be established to better advise the DFG panels and politicians.
