Senate Committee on Strategic Planning
The Senate Committee on Strategic Planning is made up of nine Senate members chosen in a manner to ensure a balanced representation of the sciences and humanities. A vice president chairs the committee meetings. The committee prepares the Senate's strategic research initiatives. It establishes key topic areas, such as programme announcements for DFG Research Centres. The committee is also responsible for preparing the analysis "Strategic Planning and Funding", which appears at regular intervals.
