The DFG participates in the 2nd USA Science & Engineering Festival
The 2nd USA Science & Engineering Festival will inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers with an Expo in Washington DC on April 28-29, 2012.
The Science Festival is the nation’s largest celebration of all things science & engineering and features over 2,000 hands-on activities and over 150 performances.
For the first time, the DFG will participate in the festival with other German organizations as part of Research in Germany and the following activities are planned:

“Jeopardy: Test your Knowledge on German Research” – Students can test their knowledge of German achievements in science in the DFG’s Jeopardy-style quiz show

Representatives from the DFG and other German funding organizations will introduce and discuss the research scene in Germany at the “Research in Germany” booth

Students who visit the “Research in Germany” booth will also get to know Future Ocean and learn about marine science through hands-on activities
