Results of the 2016 DFG-MINCYT/CONICET Call
(15.01.18) In 2016, the DFG and its Argentinian partner organisations MINCYT and CONICET published a call for bilateral project proposals to be carried out by researchers in Germany and Argentina in the following areas:
- Physical Chemistry
- Materials Science
- Geosciences
- Marine Research
- Immunology
- Neurosciences
- Social Sciences and Humanities
Of the proposals submitted, ten projects were approved and these will be jointly funded by the DFG, CONICET and MINCYT.

Germany and Argentina have a long-standing and intensive partnership in research. The DFG signed an agreement with CONICET back in 1987, which was followed in 2013 by an agreement with MINCYT. Last November, DFG President Prof. Dr. Peter Strohschneider paid a visit to Argentina to see first-hand the fruits of this partnership. More information is available here:
