Research in Germany at the 36th IUPS World Physiology Congress in Rio

(16.07.17) As part of the Research in Germany initiative, the German Research Foundation (DFG) will be present at the 36th IUPS World Physiology Congress in Rio de Janeiro, to be held from 1st to 5th August.

Together with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (AvH), the DFG will promote a Lunch Session at the congress, taking place on August 3rd, from 12:00 to 13:00 in room 210 at the congress venue Riocentro.

At the event, representatives of the DFG, the DAAD and the AvH will give an insight into the country’s research landscape, funding schemes and collaboration opportunities. The invited scientist, Prof. Dr. Stefan Offermanns (Max Planck Institute for Heart and Lung Research), will briefly present his own research work and research experiences in Germany.
