Funding Ranking

Institutions – Regions – Networks

The DFG Funding Ranking provides information on the involvement of German universities and non-university research institutions in DFG funding programmes, as well as those of other national and international third-party funding bodies. Overall, the data basis accounts for nearly 90% of the public funding awarded as third-party funding to the German science community.

One of the primary objectives of the DFG Funding Ranking is to provide information in differentiated and comparative form about the priority areas of German universities with respect to publicly financed research. In this way, the DFG makes a contribution to the discussion on university profiles.
